Performance Outline

1446, the Musical

The musical 1446 describes the life of King Sejong, focusing on how he became the great king as a third son of King Taejong,

rather than his countless achievements. It shows the cruel destiny of having the crown foisted upon him,

and the multitude of difficult choices that he was forced to make as king. It highlights humane aspects of the King who made great achievements

in the various fields of art, science, and the creation of Hunminjeongeum, a great work of history.

Telling us his love for the people, the musical reveals the meaning of a true leader.
