Performance Outline

Musical Fantasia, the Operetta

The operetta Musical Fantasia differentiates itself from other existing character-centered family musicals as it combines opera and the musical for the first time in Korea with its fascinating story, with the purpose of the creation of high-quality play which everyone can enjoy. Under the title Buny Buny Music Expedition in 2010, it ranked at the top of the classical music tsection of Interpark for two years in a row, as well as being the top in customers’ satisfaction and surveys, gaining favorable comments as the best year-end performance.

Fantasia captures the mind of kids as well as adults with its fascinating music combining classical music and the musical, splendid stage effects, characters, and arrangement of musical instruments. The classics of Mozart, Puccini, Birdy, Mahler, and Brahms are reproduced in music, gaining endless requests to be released as an OST.

It tells an adventure of the main character Rumba and his six musical instruments searching for the villain Black who came from Santa’s village to steal a snowball. Unlike the other existing children’s plays that focus only on the characters and visuals, it provides a high quality operetta that every child and adult can enjoy this winter.
